Micro Syringes for Syringe Pumps and Liquid Handling Instrumentation

Glass Syringes for Liquid Handling Applications within OEM Instrumentation and Laboratories

ILS provides a broad range of the highest quality of micro syringes made from borosilicate glass manufactured in Germany.

Our premium micro syringes are compatible with devices from Hamilton®, Abbott®, Tecan®, Beckmann Coulter®, Roche® and other leading manufacturers. They are used in HPLC and GC autosamplers, diluters, dispensers, syringe pumps and other liquid handling instruments.

ILS Glass Micro Syringes

Compatible Instruments

Syringes are primarily used to inject or withdraw and transfer gas or liquid. They are one of the most extensively used items by science and medical laboratories as well as laboratory equipment manufacturers. Most often they are used in:

  • Dispenser
  • Diluters
  • Syringe Pumps
  • HPLC & GC Autosampler
  • Chromatography
  • Spectroscopy
  • Liquid Handling Instruments

ILS Syringes Applications

Our premium syringes are widely used for a diversity of purposes of liquid handling tasks, such as injecting or dosing. However, they can also be applied to remove or inject gas. The most common applications include infusing, dispensing reagents, calibration, aspirating, pipetting and sampling.Primary industries that utilize our syringes include pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, petrochemical, neuroscience, drug research and development.

ILS micro syringes are also used by the food and beverage industry, as well as governmental and academic institutions.

About ILS Micro Syringes

Key Features of ILS Products

ILS crafts replacement syringes in volumes ranging from microliters to millilitres (0.5 μL to 100 mL).All of ILS’s syringes are manufactured from high-quality DURAN® 3.3 borosilicate glass. Borosilicate glass is heat and shock resistant, which ultimately protects against breakage from shock and sudden or extreme fluctuations in temperature. This type of ultra-low expansion glass endow the syringe with maximum chemical resistance, outstanding degree of calibration and superior precision.

Additionally, all polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE; Teflon™) and metal parts of an ILS syringes are designed and manufactured in-house. In the production ILS use state-of-the-art computer-controlled milling and lathering machines and specialized glass-shrinking equipment.

Main Advantages of ILS Glass Syringes

Glass syringes have few advantages over the ones produced from other raw materials. They’re characterized by a high chemical resistance which makes them perfect heavy-duty syringes. The plungers in the glass syringe move more smoothly what leverages to an especially high level of precision.

Because of their high precision, great tightness and chemical resistance, ILS micro syringes are chosen whenever the heavy-duty products are necessary. Most commonly used as a high-quality replacement for the laboratory and clinical instruments.
